What Is SkinPen® Microneedling

SkinPen® microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment designed to improve skin texture, tone, and overall skin quality by stimulating the skin's natural repair processes.

During treatment, a medical microneedling device creates thousands of tiny micro-channels in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries trigger the body's natural healing response and stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin.

Over time, this process helps the skin gradually become smoother, firmer, and more even in appearance. Unlike treatments that add volume, microneedling focuses on improving the skin itself.

Recovery

After Your Treatment

SkinPen® is minimally invasive, but the skin still needs time to settle and renew afterwards. Most people experience redness for around 24 hours — often similar to mild sunburn.

The skin may also feel warm, tight, dry, or slightly flaky for several days as the outer layer renews itself. Most patients return to normal activities the following day.

Post-treatment advice is provided to help protect the skin and support recovery in the days after treatment.
